I believe that those individuals who serve in government should be accountable, trustworthy and honest.

My name is Brian Gray and I am a candidate for Lynn Haven City Commissioner Seat-4. As a citizen of this great City of Lynn Haven, I promise to uphold my conservative beliefs, honor my military background and to always act according to my Christian faith. I believe in long established Constitutional principles and that Government is created by the People and for the People. 

• Lynn Haven resident since 1965
• Graduate of A. Crawford Mosley High School (Class of 1981)
• Married with three children
• Member of the Hiland Park Baptist Church

Military Service

• Florida Army National Guard (Retired, 31 years of service).
• Four combat tours with the Panama City Infantry Unit-2003, 2007, 2008 and 2010

Experience

• Currently, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Lynn Haven, Florida, United States Department of Veterans Affairs
• Senior Probation Officer, Florida Department of Corrections (Retired, 24 years of service)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Northwest Florida Reception Center, Florida Department of Corrections
• Chaplin, Panama City Rescue Mission

Education

• Master’s Degree in Divinity and Theology, Liberty University
• Master’s Degree in Clinical Applied Psychology, Florida State University
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Florida State University
• Associates Degree in Business Administration, Gulf Coast State College

Policy Statement

I believe in a firm fiscal policy that balances budgets and builds reserves.  It is important to have all infrastructure projects planned and budgeted appropriately. I support the City of Lynn Haven’s first responders and emergency services personnel and I admire the work they do to protect our great City. It is important to make sure the City of Lynn Haven’s future growth is monitored and planned accordingly and that transparency exists. It is also important to make sure our city employees are well trained and given the chance to succeed in their respective fields. 

I love the City of Lynn Haven. I would appreciate your vote on Tuesday, April 20th.
