I have served on the District 9 Board of Supervisors since 2013 as a Supervisor (seat 5). I have been serving for the past two years (and currently) as the CDD 9 Board's representative on the Project Wide Advisory Committee (PWAC) and the Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group.
I've held leadership positions with many groups, clubs, committees, and organizations linked to my personal and professional life.
Challenges and opportunities require a full understanding of the root issue, the parameters in which we must operate, and a fair decision based on a balance of individual needs and our community's culture and deed restrictions. I come to my decisions based on, "Do the right thing". As financial decisions should be based on value/return on investment, I tend toward fiscal conservatism.
