Candidate: Holly Bell

Following 13 years as a tenured Business and Economics Professor and Assistant Campus Director and Director of Academic Affairs at the Mat-Su campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage, I retired to The Villages. I have over 30 years of busienss, analysis, and management experience with 9 of those years in corporate management at FedEx. This experience will translate well to the budgetary, contracting, and policy compliance oversight duties the Board of Supervisors is tasked with.

My education includes a BA in Economics and International Studies with an emphasis in American Foreign Policy and a minor in political science as well as an MBA and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree with an emphasis in management. I have also earned a graduate certificate in International Security from Harvard.

In retirement I'm enjoying writing fiction, playing Samba, bocce, and shuffleboard, and socializing with new friends. I look forward to an opportunity to serve my community as your district representative.
