Candidate: Linda Grzesik

My husband and I moved to The Village of Amelia 14 years ago.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Rockford College in Illinois with extensive experience in property management.  

I have served District 6 residents for seven years helping to keep our maintenance fees from increasing while making sure that areas under the District’s control are maintained at a high level.   The maintenance fees decreased by 5% in 2015 and have been held at that same level, including this year.  

Additionally, I was selected to serve on the Investment Advisory Committee that oversees the investments of all of the District’s working capital and reserves. Currently, District 6 Reserve levels are in excellent shape.

We moved from Illinois to Arizona and stayed there for 20 years before moving to The Villages. We love the heat!!   We are members of several clubs, enjoy golfing, reading and playing cards.  I am also very involved in volunteering and/or collecting supplies for non-profit organizations.

Our daughter and her husband live in Tennessee and have 2 daughters.  One is an IT specialist at an elementary school and her husband has made the Navy his career. The other is attending college in Phoenix. Our son is married and lives in Montana.  He is retired from the Air Force and currently working as a project manager for a large business training center.  His two sons are elementary school age.   

I would like to continue to serve the residents of District 6 and am asking you to vote to re-elect me.
