Greetings Friends ~ 

Thank you for taking time to learn a bit about me. I am running for Supervisor in District 6 to preserve the high standard of living we experience in The Villages. 

My goal is to provide sound decisions for our community based on my understanding of the issues. In order to accomplish this, I am an excellent listener and will ask questions that will help gain a deeper understanding of the situation. Once I have a firm grasp of the facts, I will take appropriate steps to benefit our community. 

I started my career, as a VISTA Volunteer Nurse in Agana, Guam and proceeded to Republic of Palau to help the Peace Corps Volunteers. My life of service has spanned positions as a Senior Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Representative at the American Embassy in London, FAA Program Manager for Safe Skies for Africa, Boeing 727 and 747 airline pilot for Continental Airlines, Dale Carnegie Communications Instructor, and surgical nurse for the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Brothers Clinic in Rochester, MN. 

As an FAA employee for 22 years, I supervised budget, policy, procedures and enforced regualtions that ensured safe air travel. I know what it takes to lead. 

We are a proud U.S. Navy family with four children. I met and married Patrick B. Coleman, MD, on Guam 52 years ago. My most satisfying accomplishment was being the Development Director for the USO at the Orlando International Airport.
