Candidate: Matthew Friedland

I am Matt Friedland   running for the position of the   North Sumter Country Utility Dependent District 9 seat #5   Age 81 years old and married. Born in Brooklyn N.Y., lived on Long Island for 40 years. Retired form IBM after 30 years worked at the Mt. Sinai school district from 2002 to 2012 as a computer Tech. Lived in the villages for 9 years lived in the villages of Charlotte as the VHA   Director of district 9. Instituted the electronic recycling which has been successful for the last 4 years. President of segway club   from 2013-2015. Founder and current president of the So Long Long Club for 6 years. Worked to have the menorahs install for the Lake Sumter and Brownwood squares. Have the AED install in parts of the village’s charlotte (35) homes.

Hobbies: include: building R/C boats and computer technology
