Candidate: Phil Montalvo

My wife, Linda, and I relocated to the Village of Linden from Orlando in October 2019, and could not be happier having done so. I now see an opportunity to be of service to our community.

I believe that given my past professional and governance experience, I can make positive and meaningful contributions to the VCDD-12 Board of Supervisors, and our community, which is why I am asking for your support. Below is my resume for your consideration.

·        1971 – 1995: Private litigation law practice, East St. Louis and Belleville, IL

·        1972 – 1975: Special Illinois Assistant Attorney General (Consumer Fraud & Eminent        Domain)

·        1993 – 1995: City Attorney, City of Belleville, IL

·        1995 – 1997: Chief Legal Counsel, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Springfield, IL

·        1998 – 2011: Private litigation law practice, Lincoln, IL

·        2012 – 2019: Florida Hospital (now Advent Health), Orlando and Celebration, FL: Medical Interpreter (English/Spanish translator between patients and medical staff); non-medical staff member of the FH Nicholson Center (robotic surgery training, educational, and research center)
