ANNOUNCING THE CANDIDACY OF REGGIE SESSIONS FOR COMMISSIONER OF        DISTRICT 1; SEAT #5

To the Citizens of Ft. Pierce,

I bring you greetings, good tidings and blessings. As the song writer says: “I Believe I'll Run On And See What The End Is Going To Be”. I come to you determined, motivated and excited to announce my candidacy for the office of City Commissioner for District 1; Seat #5.

I'm motivated and striving to educate the citizens on how important this election is; that they have someone in office that shares the same interest as they do, to protect their welfare and families interest in city government who has a proven track record in stead of making promises.

I have a proven track record considering my passionate, candid and serious character when it comes to holding political office and representing citizens of Ft. Pierce. My track record clearly shows I have been a Humanitarian as oppose to a Politician. A prime example is my proven leadership in addressing the pandemic in our area, when no other politicians saw the importance of addressing this issue at it's very early stages. This was done by me personally sponsoring and providing two Covid-19 testing sites for the general public and two food distribution sites for the citizens of Ft Pierce and also a massive mask give away of over 5800 masks for the citizens. All of these measures I personally took on at the early stages of the pandemic when no one else was doing so.

My motto while I was in office before was “This is bigger than me, it's about the people I represent in my elected capacity.” Regardless of race, gender, age or financial status, whether they live on the beach or on the mainland, everyone is entitled to equal benefits and privileges from their local government. That should consist of adequate clean City services, safe police protection, clean environment,an adequate infrastructure of roads and sidewalks are just a few to name and done in a manner economically feasible which means LOW TAXES.

We are now at a point where you need me and I need you. As a result of the death of Commissioner Rufus Alexander, a special election for December 07, 2021 has been established. I solicit your support in this upcoming candidacy in replacing my colleague Commissioner Rufus Alexander.
