Candidate: Greg Hansen

Greg was a 1969 Graduate of the United States Naval Academy.  He received a Master's Degree in Financial Management from the Unites States Naval Postgraduate School.  During 27 years of active naval service he served in country Vietnam with the Naval Advisory Group, Commanded the USS McClusky (FFG-41) and USS Antietam (CG-54), served as Appropriationc Committee Liaison for the Secretay of the Navy, and completed his service on the Staff of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.  He began his second career working in a Government Relations firm in Washington, DC where he spent 16 years working with the Congress, the Defense Industry, and the Department of the Navy to increase our Navy's capabilities.  In January of 2017 Governor Scott appointed him to the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners.  In November 2017 the Commission elected him as their Chairman. Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors for The American Flag Project and the Teens in Flight organizations.  He is married to  Linda and they have a daughter, Regan.
