Candidate: Jenori Burroughs

Jenori Burroughs is deeply committed to the welfare of her neighbors in District 5 and the broader community of Pensacola. With a fervent dedication, Jenori strives to restore District 5 to its former splendor, envisioning it as a neighborhood renowned for its safety, family-friendly environment, and cultural diversity. Her passion lies in fostering an atmosphere where anyone would aspire to live, characterized by its vibrant community spirit and opportunities for growth.

A native of Pensacola, Jenori's upbringing spanned both her hometown and Los Angeles, CA. Following high school, she embarked on a journey to Atlanta, where she dedicated 18 years to raising her four children while actively volunteering with organizations such as Hosea Feed the Homeless, Hands on Atlanta, Various community events through Kaiser Permanente and AID Atlanta. Throughout her tenure in Atlanta, Jenori remained deeply engaged in community affairs, serving on governance committees for Clayton County and Fulton County schools, all while leveraging her expertise as a Healthcare IT Consultant for various hospitals over the past 19 years.

Despite her travels and experiences, Jenori's heart has always remained rooted in Pensacola. Since returning in 2020, she has embraced her role as a homeowner in District 5. She currently serves as Treasurer for the Eastside Neighborhood Improvement Association. Eager to contribute to the betterment of her community, Jenori's multifaceted background and unwavering voice make her a formidable advocate for positive change in District 5 and the City of Pensacola.
