To the Voters of Escambia’s District 1, 

It would be an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to represent you as your Board Member for the ECUA. I promise that I will be a passionate, aggressive, and faithful representative for you; the ratepayers of Escambia County.

The last election cycle, I had to withdraw from a partisan race due to Federal law that prohibits DOD employees from seeking office (Hatch Act). I have since retired and no longer find myself under that restriction. Additionally, I now have much more time to commit to you as your representative.

My pledge is to listen and act on concerns that you, the customer, feel are important. The three priorities that I intend to focus on are;

1.    HIGHER QUALITY-Water quality is of the top priority for a public utility. Many opportunities exist to validate that water quality is safe for you and your family.

2.    BETTER SERVICE-From website to phone interactions, your experience with your public utility should be informative, courteous, and reliable.

3.    LOWER RATES- Effective leadership and accountability is essential in delivering a product at the most cost-efficient manner. I will utilize my education and experience to identify areas that result in positive fiscal performance.
