Candidate's Statement

Dear Escambia County Voters,

I am the lifetime Republican, conservative candidate in this race, running for re-election to the Escambia County Commission District 1 seat and I am humbled to have the support and endorsement of  Congressman Matt Gaetz, Representative Michelle Salzman, Sheriff Chip Simmons, and the NW Florida PBA for my candidacy.  I invite you to read dozens of testimonials at

We have accomplished much--but there is much left to do.  Together, with your support and your vote, we will continue to improve our community for our families, businesses, and visitors--by concentrating on what is most important:

--Intelligent, managed growth

--Excellent and Efficient Public Safety

--Improved Infrastructure

--Transparent governence

--Accessible leadership

--Unsurpassed constituent service

--Better Quality of Life

--and NEVER raising your property tax rates

So I humbly ask for your continued support and for your vote to keep this county moving in the right direction.

Very Respectfully,

Jeff Bergosh
