Candidate: Daniel Diesel

Dan Diesel has lived in Titusville nearly all his life. After graduating from Titusville High School, Dan dedicated his career to educating and coaching our children. His commitment to the community was recognized when he was elected Teacher of the Year in 1994 and Florida Athletic Director of the Year in 2007. In 2016, he was honored with induction into the prestigious Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame.

Dan has always had a passion for serving his community and giving our next generation more opportunities. In 2016, Dan stepped up to serve on the Titusville City Council. He became Mayor of Titusville in 2020, leading by bringing business and community leaders together to solve issues. Of Dan’s many accomplishments and titles, his most cherished is his role as husband to Barbara and father to Matt, Travis, and Scott, who have all followed in their father’s footsteps as educators and coaches.

Dan will be a strong voice on the County Commission. He is committed to putting the taxpayer first, focusing on smart growth, protecting our waterways and beaches, and providing the next generation more opportunities.
