Candidate: Mark Hartley

I am Mark Hartley, and I am married to Ronda.  We have two children, Taylor and Ty.  I am running for County Commissioner District 5.

I am a Christian and attend Taylor Church, where I coordinate gospel sings for our church and the community.  Community is very important to me.  I have been teaching in Baker County for 34 years.  As an educator, I promote community service with my students by volunteering at nursing homes, the historical society, and toy drives.  I encourage students to be active in local government by registering them to vote.  While coaching little league t-ball for 17 years, I strived to be a good role model by demonstrating good character and sportsmanship to the youth of Baker County.  As a young adult, I gained valuable experience while working at my family’s small business.
