Candidate: Terry Turner

Terry is the President of Armstrong Roofing and Armstrong Contracting Services. He has been active in the roofing business over 35 years and contracting business over 23 years. Terry has served on many local and state committees.
Some of Terry’s service, past and present to his community and profession include:
• Current Putnam County Commissioner, District 3
• Past board member, 2 time past chairman of the board and past treasurer of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce
• Former member and past chairman of the Putnam County Planning Commission
• Former member and past chairman of the Putnam County Codes Enforcement Board
• Former Board Member and past President of the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors Association. (FRSA)
• Former trustee and past chairman of the FRSA Self Insures Fund
• Former trustee and past chairman of the FRSA Educational Foundation
• FRSA Certified Professional Roofing Contractor (CPRC)
He has received many community service awards, such as small business of the year in 2005. Terry’s proud to serve his community when possible.
Having grown up in Putnam County Terry is proud to still live and work here with his wife Laura. Terry has 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren with his youngest daughter Gina and husband Les being 3rd generation partners in the family roofing business.
