Candidate: WILLIAM ERNEST LIEDTKE

I have been a resident of Lehigh Acres since 1964, attending Lehigh Acres Elementary School and graduating from Alva High School in 1972. I was also a volunteer for the Lehigh Acres Fire District until I joined the United States Navy form 1972 to 1980 otaining the rank of First Class Petty Officer, I am a Veteran. I moved back to Lehigh Acres with my family and started working for Worthington Sprinklers a family business. In 1982 I was hired at the Lehigh Acres Fire District and still worked part time in the family bussiness on my days off. In 1984 my wife and I took over running Worthington Sprinklers, Inc and still do today. I retired form the Fire District in 2011 otaining the rank of Deputy Chief/Asst Chief.

I have experience running a successful bussiness in Lehigh Acres for over 30 years as well as participating in doing the budget at the Fire District for over 10 years

I will keep working to improve the level of services at Lehigh Acres Fire District as a current FIre Commissioner and keeping taxes low and at a fair level for all residents of Lehigh Acres Fire District
