Candidate: CHRISTOPHER WAPLES

      Christopher Waples is a Florida native and a resident of Lehigh Acres for the last nine years. After earning his social sciences education degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, Chris began teaching Civics for the Lee County School District. As a public school teacher, Chris believes deeply in serving his community. He teaches his students that being involved in your community and being willing to work for others is crucial if you want your community to be grow and thrive. Chris wants to continue his service and be a role model for his students. Chris believes local government is where real work, for real people can be done. Christopher believes that our first responders, firefighters, and community deserve a Stable, Accountable, Fiscally responsible, and Efficient fire district and he is excited and honored to have an opportunity to be part of that board.
