Brian Wyer is the President/CEO of the Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce. He has worked with IBM, PricewatherhouseCoopers, the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation, and UWF Alumni Relations. Brian has managed several IT teams, led productivity trainings, and created corporate programs that focused on inclusion & diversity.
He currently serves on numerous organizations including United Way, Achieve Escambia, the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Council, First Place Partners, 1 Million Cups, Baptist Health Care Foundation, Escambia-Pensacola Human Relations Commission, Mental Health Task Force, Homeless Reduction Task Force and the Early Learning Coalition. Brian was on the Grover Robinson Mayorial Transition Team, and was selected to the 2019 US Global Leadership Florida Advisory Committee.
Brian has recently won several awards including: 2021 Pace Award Community Advocate of the Year and the 2021 AFP Outstanding Champion of Diversity and Inclusion.
He has been married for 29 years to Harriett and has 3 children (Steven - 23, Brianna - 21 and Kendra - 17 years old).
