Candidate: Patrick Abel

  My name is Patrick Abel and I am proud to be running for your Soil and Water Conservationist Representative of District 4 in Charlotte County, Florida. As a member of this community for the past 11 years, I've been provided the ultimate privilege of experiencing the beauty of our local ecosystem. Fishing, kayaking, and camping throughout the years have played the ultimate role in my education on conservation and environmental beauty. I started this campaign in order to provide an alternative perspective on environmentalism in public office. As a young man myself, I am not only capable of understanding the mindset of a generation which lacks representation in public office, but I am able to act swiftly under a mass amount of pressure.

  If elected, I want to promote environmental education to the citizens of Charlotte County through social media. I believe that many individuals don't realize the important role they play in keeping our county both healthy and beautiful. I will also promote greater environmental measures which would work in favor of the creation of new jobs, not their destruction.

  I adore the spectacle that is Charlotte County. Rarely does a place hold both breathless beauty and a sincere warmth that allows each of its citizens to gladly call it home. Charlotte County is my home and I am ready, willing, and Abel to serve it in any way that I can. Thank you for your time and I hope to have your vote this November.
