Candidate: BRETT SHERMAN

Brett Sherman is a lifelong resident of Sumter County and a graduate of Sumter County Public Schools.  He attended Bushnell Elementary, South Sumter Middle School and South Sumter High School before graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Business Administration.  Brett and his family reside in beautiful Lake Panasoffkee.  His wife, Landi, is in her 11th year as a Guidance Counselor at Lake Panasoffkee Elementary and their children attend South Sumter Middle and Lake Panasoffkee Elementary schools respectively.

 Brett’s commitment to education has deep roots as both his grandfather, father and mother were educators.   Brett is active in the community serving on South Sumter Middle School’s Improvement Council and the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.
