Candidate: Cody Lee Brown

I am beyond excited to get to work serving this great County. I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida but raised right here in Port St. Lucie. St. Lucie County is my home as it is for so many. I care for the prosperity of this County and the family that share it with me. I have served this County my whole life volunteering through school with the St. Lucie County Sheriffs Office Explorer program, and the Port St. Lucie Police Dept. Explorer Program. Service to this Community has always been by dream and the only thing I could ever imagine. Following into my adult life I continued that service to keep St. lucie County, and the Treasure Coast safe as a Florida State Trooper. Something that I am beyond privileged to have been able to do. Service to this community is what I care about, and it is that in which I intend to bring the District 3, and the County Commission. I dont stop at the edge of the wall afraid of the bad guys at work, and I wont bow to those that wish harm to the people of St. Lucie County and the pursuit of happiness here. By electing me as YOUR County Commissioner, you are electing a fighter, a normal public serveant to the people, someone who understands what is truly means to grow up here in St. Lucie County. I am tired of poor oversight, and poor policy that only hurts the amazing people that live here. It is time we know where our fund are being used, and it is time that we bring change away from a 20 year politician who has nearly bankrupted a City and done nothing for a County. I am here to listen to you, the people. Those who take that step to elect me as their Commissioner and those who dont. I want to serve all, not just a few. Follow me, speak to me. If you see me, stop me and talk. Lets talk about how we are going to finally bring St. Lucie County to the next step to a new beginning and make it a home for you and your family. 

I fought to keep you safe, now let me fight to keep the County Financially responsible and to give you the people peace of mind in a time of turmoil within the Country.
