WORK EXPERIENCE:   Attorney.   Thirty one years working in Florida, in law, public policy and community advocacy, with the State Legislature, local governments, with private firms, and self-employed.   

EDUCATION :   B.A. Brown University, J.D., Florida State University College of Law

PERSONAL:     Husband:  Ralph A. DeVitto; married at First Presbyterian Church, Crescent City, 29 years ago.  Third generation Crescent CIty family.  Lived and worked in several cities in Florida.  Bought my grandparents home on Main Street in 2010, and recently relocated to Crescent City. 

CIVIC & COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Thirty-one-plus  years of community service, and proven leadership.  My experience is in helping to bring community members together to come to agreement, and to work with other board members in solving problems, setting visions and goals, raising funds and managing a budget, and making good hiring decisions.    

STATE, COMMUNITY AND NON-PROFIT SERVICE:   State Commission on Homelessness and State Council on Homelessness, Appointed by Governor Bush; Substance Abuse and Mental Health Corporation, Appointed by Senate President Tom Lee;  Elder, Presbyterian Church; served two terms on governing boards of my local church; Board member, Florida Supportive Housing Coalition;  Chair, Executive Council, Florida Bar Public Interest Law Section.  Received Distinguished Service Award;  Member, Neighborhood Planning Task Force, Davis Islands, Tampa, FL;  board member and President, Davis Islands Civic Association.  Founding Board Member and President, Tallahassee Cold Night Shelter, Inc. ; Board Member for 10 years,  Florida Pro Musica, nonprofit music organization. Board Member, Hillsborough Coalition for the Homeless.

 CRESCENT CITY COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Crescent City Tree and Garden Board, Appointed by City Commission;  First Presbyterian Church of Crescent City; Crescent City Rotary Club, and Board member;  Friends of the Library, Crescent City Library;  Fruitland Historical Society  (South Putnam); Keep Putnam Beautiful volunteer; Putnam Blueways and Trails Member; Cops, Kids and Kayaks volunteer.
