Candidate: Maurice J. Boudreau

I come with a servant’s heart, unencumbered by “payback” donations. My basis for running was to help the community gain a voice in Port policy so that everyone wins. From my volunteer position as Ambassador to Port Commissioner Bob Harvey I saw clearly how the Port Commissioners are more interested in Port wealth than the welfare of the surrounding areas. Brevard residents should not be burdened with excessive traffic, hazardous materials or a decline in the condition of the lagoon as a byproduct of Port Canaveral’s growth. I am passionate about the health of our lagoon and will make sure every extra penny will go towards reviving it. My background is in real estate so I know what a dollar buys. I will press for a balanced budget and money set aside for improvements rather than more debt. As your Port Commissioner, I will have an open door policy and listen to your concerns. Col. Bob Harvey says “Maurice shares my passion to do the right thing for the Port, the tenants and the people of the Port community.” My priority is for Brevard residents to use and enjoy the Port resources most including unrestricted access to beaches and boat ramps and dining and night life. Let’s make this the People’s Port together; vote for me November 6th.
