Candidate: DONNIE PROPHET

I am a teacher of students with disabilities, and I believe in children. I am a graduate of Dunnellon High School, and I majored in Ministerial Leadership at Southeastern University.  Following a conversation with a concerned mother after church, I realized that we can and must do better for each and every student. In my classroom, I love impacting students, and with your support, I will bring this same passion for fighting to Our School Board Our schools should set a new standard for education, rather than merely measuring up to a test.

We must have discipline policies that create a safe and welcoming environment. The teachers and Education Support Professionals’ working conditions are our students’ learning conditions. My grandmother taught a sense of fairness. She told me that hard work pays off. I will fight to ensure that we are rewarding hard work in our workforce and classrooms. I humbly ask for your vote on August 28th. Together, we can do this!

I will keep our students safe, serve ALL students, instill effective communication and steward taxpayers’ money.
