Candidate: JANE KUCKEL

Dr. Jane Kuckel was hired as Assistant Superintendent with the Lee County Schools in 1997 through a National Talent Search process. The experiences that she brought to the Lee County Schools included elementary level teaching, Director of a four county Head Start Program, Producer and Talent for a local evening Children’s television show, 5 years as an adjunct Educational Leadership Instructor at both the Master’s and Doctorate levels, 13 years as an elementary principal, and 7 years as an Assistant Superintendent. After retiring from the Lee County Schools, she serve on the Lee County School Board for 12 years. She has Bachelor\'s degree in Elementary Education from Miami University,Ohio: a Master\'s degree in School Administration and Supervision from Bowling Green University; and a Doctorate degree in Curriculum and School Administration from Michigan State University.
