Personal: Born in The Bronx, New York several years ago. BA Physics & Mathematics, Hunter College of the City University of New York, 1962. Married Lorraine in 1962. Three children: Christopher, William and Laura. Five grandchildren. Lived in several places including, Virginia, California, Texas and Colorado. Retired and moved to Punta Gorda in 2002. Professional: Started in the Aerospace industry in software development with North American Aviation. Became involved in the mapping industry using high altitude imagery to produce digital inventory records for the utility industry. Organized several entrepreneurial ventures related to information services for public utilities: -V.P., Operations, Utility Data Corp-A digital mapping services company. -V.P., Marketing & Sales, Synercom.-A graphic systems company. -V.P., Marketing & Sales, Etak-An on board automotive mapping system producer. -V.P., Marketing & Sales, Space Imaging-A venture to launch a photographic satellite into earth orbit for civilian mapping use. -CEO, GeoIT-A professional consulting firm providing information technology services to public utilities. -Past President, GITA-Geospatial Information Technology Association, A non profit mapping industry educational and professional organization. I was founding treasurer and am a past president. The organization now has about 3,000 members and an operating budget of about $5,000,000. Political: -CCRC-Past President, CCRC Charlotte County Republican Club, Voted The Best Large Republican Club in Florida in 2007. -Charlotte County Republican Party -Chairman, Elected in March 2011 -Precinct 64 Committeeman -Minority Outreach Coordinator -Assistant Secretary 2008-2011Elected Chairman, 2011 -PGCCC-Punta Gorda Concerned Citizens, a civic organization. -SCCC-South Charlotte County Coalition, Past V.P. -PGICA -Past, Director, Government Liaison, Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association -2010 Charlotte County Charter Review Commission-Chaired the Other Boards and Committees Sub Committee which reviewed the elected groups including: School Board, City of Punta Gorda, Utility Districts and Chambers of Commerce. Proposed changes to the Charter which were adopted by the electorate. -Punta Gorda Isles Canal Advisory Board-Member 2009 -2010 -Team Punta Gorda-Government Liaison Director, 2009 -Republican National Conventions Elected by my peers to be a Delegate to 2012, & 2016 Convention representing my congressional District. The Charlotte County Delegation to the RPOF comprises: The Chairman of the Party, State Committeewoman and State Committeeman. The Charlotte County Executive Committee has its organizational meeting in December. I have decided not to run for Chairman this year, in keeping with my philosophy that new people and new ideas will help us grow the Party. Our State Committeeman, Lindsay Harrington and our State Committeewoman, Jane Sturges have also decided not to run for re-election.
