I am Bob Starr candidate for Republican State Committeeman.I have been involved in Republican politics in Charlotte County for over 25 years. I am a past Chairman of the Charlotte County Republican Executive Committee. Past Vice Chairman of the County R.E.C.. Past Chairman of the State Chairman Caucus. The Chairman of the Chairman Caucus is a position to which I was elected by the other 66 County Chairmen to represent them with the Republican Party of Florida. I Served on the Republican Party of Florida Board. I was a member of the Charlotte County R.E.C. for over 20 years. I was your elected Charlotte County Commissioner from 2008 to 2012. Over the years I have worked on many campaigns. After my term as County Commissioner I retired from politics. With all that is going on with the Republican Party today I believe it is time for me to get back in the game,to help build the party image and solidarity at the local and state level. Republican State Committeemen have the job of being the voice of the Charlotte County Republican voters with the State Party. As your elected representative Bob Starr will make sure that the wishes of the Republican voters in Charlotte County will be conveyed to the Republican Party of Florida. I will always be available to listen to your concerns. I will attend all meetings and caucuses during my term. The State Committeeman position is unpaid a candidate must be willing to spend the money and time needed to do the job. If you elect me I will make the commitment of time and money to represent you well.
