Bringing Positive Solutions to the Charlotte County Tax Collector’s Office with attainable goals of: • Reducing the Budget • Improving Customer Service • Increasing Transparency and Accountability I am running on SELF-IMPOSED term limits of two terms, because in that time I have delivered to the taxpayers what I have promised, in which case the budget will be in line with comparable counties, customer service will be improved, and a structure to hold myself and anyone who comes after me accountable for the job that is being done. Further, if I cannot SIGNIFICANTLY improve the office in the first term, I won’t run a second term, because I am running to IMPROVE our community, not for a career change. I espouse core values of a Constitutionally Limited Government, Personal and Fiscal Responsibility, and Free Market Capitalism. My wife Julia and I moved to Charlotte County in 2000, establishing a local technology business that is repeatedly earned the Readers\' Choice Awards.
