Candidate's Statement

An Alabama native become Florida resident, Christopher James Gravois moved to Okaloosa County in December of 2016 days after graduating from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is currently a member of the congregation at Saint Simon's on the Sound Episopal Church in Fort Walton Beach, where he sings in the choir.

C.J. is a proud small business owner, having founded Panhandle Political Solutions LLC (a consulting firm) in May of 2019 to further his dream of making the world a better place by promoting the principles of limited, constitutional government that maximizes liberty. He is also a commissioned Florida Notary Public.

C.J. currently serves in the following roles:

  • Executive Director of the Okaloosa County Republican Party

  • Recording Secretary for the Republican Club of Okaloosa County

  • At-Large Board Member for the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida, formerly the Regional Director for Northwest Florida
