Candidate: Brent Smith

Brent Smith, 60 years old. Resident of the City of Valparaiso for most of my life. I was a Valparaiso City Commissioner for six years previously and was responsible for many different areas including but not limited to: Parks, Senior citizens, Water ways, Emergency management director and Cemetery overview. I also served on the Heritage museum board of trustees and was over all city buildings at one point. I have been in the electrical and construction industry for 38 years and I am well known as having a high level of integrity, honesty and professionalism. I initially started my career working with new Construction, as the owner of Brent Construction, Inc., however I am now the owner of Brent Smith Construction, LLC and solely focus on electrical needs. I have been on the Okaloosa county board of Electrical contractors since 2002 and currently serve as board chairman.
