Candidate: Michael A. Perri, Jr.

Fort Pierce has been my home for the past 63 years.  I've been a long-time follower of government, an activist for all the citizens and their best interest.  I am retired and have un-encumbered time to devote to the citizens of Fort Pierce.  If elected, I will maintain daily office accessibility.  No conflicts of interest, beholden to no group or individual.  I will focus on government efficiency and service to the citizens of Fort Pierce.

During my service of nine years on the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority Board, the power cost adjustment went from an all-time high of $54 in December to a low of a - $5 per month in 2018.  I served as Chairman of the Policy Makers Liaison Committee at Florida Municipal Power Agency.  I also served on the Policy Makers Committee of the American Public Power Association for two years.  I was awarded the Spence Vanderlinden Public Official Award by the American Public Power Association in 2018.
