Candidate: Cliff Harrell

Clifton “Cliff” Robert Harrell is a long time resident of Levy County.  He has had the honor of serving Levy County as a High School Economics and American Government teacher for both Chiefland High School and Williston High School.  In addition, Cliff has coached and mentored many young men through his years as a football coach.  He has met many amazing people who work and live in Levy County.

Cliff is a Bronson High School graduate.  He also graduated from Santa Fe Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree and then went to the University of Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Minor in Education.  While attending UF Cliff was a member of Alpha Gamma Row agriculture fraternity.

Cliff is married to his high school sweetheart, Brenda Brewington Harrell, also from Levy County. They have been married for 26 years. Brenda graduated from Williston High School, College of Central Florida with an Associate of Arts Degree, and St Leo University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Accounting, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  Brenda’s family has owned property in Levy County, District 3 for well over 100 years.

They have two grown sons, both who serve our community and nation.  Chance Harrell, 23, is a full time firefighter/EMT with Marion County, Florida and Brody Harrell, 19, is an active member in the United States Marines.  Chance’s fiancée, Haley Patton is a daycare teacher in Gainesville, Florida.

Cliff is excited for this opportunity to continue to serve and seeks your support in doing so.   He is looking forward to continuing the great work of Mike Joyner, support rural agriculture production and protecting our amazing community.
