Candidate: Ray Smith

I’m a longtime resident of Grand Haven and currently serve as a supervisor on the development’s CDD. I had been the treasurer of the Grand Haven Master Homeowners Association, chairman of the Grand Haven Advisory Council and the leader of the Creekside Amenity Center design committee. In community affairs, I was the president of the Flagler County Chapter of SCORE, served as the Palm Coast area manager for the 2010 Census verification and currently an AARP volunteer providing free income tax preparation for local residents. My business background includes 26 years of management experience, including 20 at the Westinghouse Corp., with responsibility for daily operations and long-range planning with several companies. I have served on the board of directors of five companies and hold a B.A. in Economics (UCLA) and an MBA (University of Pittsburgh).
