Candidate: Ken Mazzie

Ken Mazzie, along with wife Donna and their daughters, Hollyne and Amanda, have called Flagler County home since 2003. Using his degree in Economics from Rutgers and his professional experience as a forensic accountant and auditor, Ken practices as a Certified Public Accountant helping businesses and individuals both locally and throughout the United States. His professional experience includes working with US Trustee’s providing forensic accounting services, auditing commercial banks, financial institutions, government agencies, hospitals and businesses, and providing asset and wealth management services. His well-rounded expertise in the world of finance, independent thinking and analytics, his ability to ask the right question and to listen and understand make him an exceptional candidate as your County Commissioner. Ken is currently a member of the Elks and has served as their Statutory Auditor. He also has served as Treasurer and VP for the Rotary Foundation, is a past member of the Lions Club, has served on the Flagler County Ad-Hoc Budget Committee and as Treasurer for Teens-In-Flight and CHAMPS Help Association (the organization that provided water to firefighters during the 2011 Esperanto fires and most recently served on the Belle Terre Swim and Racquet Club Committee to keep the club open. As an active man, you might see Ken enjoying our local golf courses, boating on the inter-coastal waterway, cycling around town on our trails, paddle boarding at the beach or just relaxing poolside.
