Candidate's Statement

Boyce White is a proud, 3rd generation, Pensacola native. He is the son of the late Dr. Charles and the late Fe’ White, both of whom were strong and influential members of the community; and grandson to David Boyce Thomas, Escambia County’s Florida House Representative (1943-44) and State Senator (1945-48). As for Boyce, he graduated from Washington High School, The Citadel for his undergraduate, and ultimately earned his MBA from the University of West Florida. Since then, he has worked for 31 years in sales, where he honed his ability to negotiate win/win results while working with other decision makers. For the past 12 years, Boyce has also been in real estate management, where he has employed a multitude of local Pensacola residents to help with his business. As a small business owner, Boyce understands how crucial it is to be fiscally responsible and help the local community grow and thrive. Boyce also understands how critical it is to give back to the community. He has served on the Northwest Florida Blood Center Foundation Board and on the finance board at Trinity Presbyterian Church.  Additionally, he has served as a youth advisor and as a “Big” with Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, to help kids in Pensacola succeed. He is also a Pensacola Chamber of Commerce LEAP 2001 Graduate as well as a 2017 Santa Rosa Leadership Graduate, establishing personal and professional relationships across the greater Gulf Coast region.  Boyce has decided it’s now time to give back to the community now, by serving as the next Escambia County Commissioner for District 4. He wants to bring his 30+ years of experience in business and passion for helping others, to the County Commissioners’ office, and find innovative solutions that help Pensacolians.
