Candidate: Kenneth Walters

I was born and raised in Florida and I am a "Life Time" Republican.  I attended Eastern Kentucky University in 1968.  I graduated with a degree in accounting and business administration.  Upon graduating, I worked for the Family plastic bottle manufacturing business.  My responsibilities were:  accounting, projections, sales, marketing and traffic managing (we owned our own trucks and shipped nationally). I was also responible for hiring and training personnel.  I left after twenty five years, moved to Ft Lauderdale and started my own manufacturing business.  I secured equipment leases, lines of credit for raw materials, set up equipment for production and began a 24/7 operation that lasted seven years when I sold it to a major competitor.  At age 54, I decided to go into the health and life insurance business which I am still doing after 20 years.  I am a member of the Citrus County REC, the President of the Crystal Oaks Republican Club and the President of the Crystal Oaks Civic Association.
