Candidate: Gordon Onderdonk

Lake Padgett Estates ISD Gordon Onderdonk, P.E. Personal: I am a civil engineering graduate from the University of South Florida and a life-long Florida resident. My main hobbies include golf and fishing. My wife Kelley, a school teacher, is currently a stay home mom focused on raising our two year old daughter Morgan. We can often be seen jogging in the late afternoon in Lake Padgett Estates. Background: Employed by a prominent Tampa engineering firm as a project manager, I have been involved in a myriad of structural and civil engineering projects including the design and construction of parks, boat ramps, bridges, roadways, and residential / commercial buildings. I am a Florida Registered Professional Engineer, a certified building inspector, and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). My wide range experience includes working with many governmental permitting agencies such as the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), as well as several city and county building departments. Goals Statement: My goal is to offer my experience to help defend the quality of life in our unique neighborhood. By providing fresh insight and conscientious involvement, I plan to represent the needs and wants of the community.
