Candidate: Bruce E. Przepis

County Court Judge, Group 6 As a candidate for Pasco County Judge, I recognize the awesome responsibility awaiting the person chosen by the people for this position. That person should have a broad range of legal experience and possess the temperament to listen effectively, be fair to parties and lawyers and, most importantly, uphold the law regardless of his or her personal views. I have practiced law in Pasco County for over 20 years. The cases I have handled have been of the type heard by County Judges. They have included, at one time or another, misdemeanor criminal matters, small claims cases, landlord/tenant disputes and domestic violence cases. Since 1986, my practice has also included felony criminal matters, divorce and other family law cases and civil litigation. I have also served as a prosecutor for the Pinellas/Pasco State Attorney\'s office and I am a former Civil Infraction Hearing Officer having presided over traffic cases at the West Pasco Judicial Center. My wife Pauline and I have lived here in Pasco for 25 years and have raised our two children here. My son and daughter have attended Pasco County schools and my wife has been a Nurse/Educator within the Pasco County medical community since 1981. In my free time I coach baseball at Hudson High School. Pasco County is our home and we intend to remain here. I am proud to be an Honorably discharged Veteran of the United States Army, serving during active duty as a Military Police Investigator. I also served the people of this county as a Deputy Sheriff before attending law school in 1983. It is my sincere hope that the citizens of Pasco County, many of whom I have had the privilege of representing over the years, will find that I am qualified by experience and demeanor to serve as their County Judge.
