Candidate: Larry Gilbert DeLucenay

Larry DeLucenay, is currently the President of Mad Hatter Utility, Inc., which he and his wife Janice have owned since March 1978. Mad Hatter Utility, Inc. is the second largest privately owned water and sewer company in Pasco County. They reside in the Land O’ Lakes area and both are actively involved in the community. Larry and Janice have two children; daughter, Keri teaches at Weightman Middle School and son, Chad attends Land O’ Lakes High School. As an entrepreneur and business owner in the area for 30 years, Larry’s devotion and experience in all phases of the developmental needs for water & sewer utilities has been a significant force in shaping residential and business development in South Central Pasco County and surrounding areas. In addition to the daily business operation, Larry is actively involved in many community events where he has received the “William B. Moorer Award” from the Board of Realtors and ”Citizen of the Year” from the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce, which he served as President for 2005-2006. When time permits, Larry likes to fish from South Florida to Alaska and loves swapping stories with young and old alike.
