Candidate's Statement

County Court Judge, Group 7 Candy VanDercar \"As a long time Pasco resident, I am now interested in serving the people, by presiding as one of the next elected County Court judges. I believe my experiences thus far will enable me to be the sort of \'good judge\', who actively listens, authentically cares and rules fairly\". I have practiced law for nearly 7 years in New Port Richey. I am also a certified mediator in family, dependency and county court matters. Previously, I was a school psychologist for approximately 17 years. This diversified history make me well suited to be a judge of the \"people\'s court\".
