Candidate's Statement

Michele Chamberlin is a Parent, a Teacher and a Leader. Michele is passionate about children, involved in our community and has a vested interest in providing quality education for all of our students. Michele has the leadership skills and experience with the school system to respond to the needs of the children and employees of our district. One area she is passionate about would be the development of more vocational and technical schools. In her role as career specialist she sees many students who are unsure about what career path to take. They are frustrated and this leads to discipline problems. Not all of our students have the ability or the desire to attend college but all of them have the desire to have a satisfying career. We need to provide these students with opportunities for training in career areas that do not require a college degree. A strong school system makes for a strong economy, lowers the crime rate and benefits the community. Our children parents, staff and the community deserve a board member who will dedicate their full time and attention into improving our children’s futures. Michele will contribute significantly as a Pasco County School board member with passion, accountability and integrity. Please review Michele’s resume and feel free to contact her at mchamberlin4pcsb@yahoo.com if you have any questions. Thank you!
