Candidate: Jennie Kinsey

Jennie Kinsey is 42 years old. She grew up in a home where discipline, hard work, and accountability were expected. These values follow traditions established by her grandfathers. Her dad\'s dad, Colonel Roy Kinsey, USMC, served in World War II and the Korean War. Her mother\'s father, Captain Harry Stoner, served in the United States Air Force. These values led Jennie to become an Assistant State Attorney and have guided her career. In 2000, after graduating from the University of West Florida and Florida State University College of Law, Jennie joined the State Attorney\'s Office. She started her career prosecuting misdemeanor cases such as DUI\'s and shoplifting and later handled felonies like armed robberies. In her last five years with the office, Jennie was assigned to the Homicide/Major Crimes Division where she prosecuted DUI Manslaughter and Murder cases.
