Candidate: Steven Christopher Allen

My name is Steven Allen.  I am a husband and father of 3 children.  I am a commercial airline Captain and a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Liberty University.  The wasteful spending in this county by the School Board would be better spent on the children and teachers.  Our SRO program funding lags behind other districts and has a budget shortfall this year.  Our teachers are some of the lowest paid on the Treasure Coast and too often are expected to beg for supplies or, worse yet, purchase these supplies themselves.  

We can bring our district back to where it was in 2010, when we had 21 "A" rated schools in the district.  We can pay our teachers more and provide them with the supplies to do the job.  We can fund our SRO program to the levels that will ensure our children are safe when they go to school.  

What we need is new leadership and new ideas.  A vote for Steven Allen is a vote for the future.  Let's take education to a higher plane.
