Hello! I\'m Donald A Brown candidate for the Estero Village Council in District 3. That district includes all the communities on the North and South side of Estero Parkway and The Vines community. I have the skills, desire and time to meet the challenges of this historic incorporation of \"Amercias Newest Community\". There is going to be a great deal of work that needs to be done and I am ready for the challenge. Some of our critical issues and initiatives are as follows..... * Continue my work to bring a health care facilty to Estero * Lead the effort to bring the much needed sidewalks and bike paths to Estero Parkway * Manage the growth of Estero thru comprehensive planning *Oppose property tax increases *Create advisory committees to continue the work of the Estero Planning Panel * Establish an \"Estero brand\" to set us apart from other communities. I am also proud to announce that my candidacy has been endorsed by Jim Humphery, attorney and former Mayor of Ft. Myers and Chris Hansen Vice Chairman of the Lee Memorial Board of Directors. I know that my background as a small business owner for 25 years as well a a strong commitment to past and present community service efforts will help me reach the community goals we all want for Estero.
