Candidate: Jay Gordon Shuler

Hello, my name is Jay Gordon Shuler, and I am asking for your vote for County Judge for Franklin County. I was born in Apalachicola in 1961, and I am a life long resident of our county. I graduated from Apalachicola High School in 1979, and went to Florida State University (FSU). I graduated from FSU in 1984, and went to the FSU College of Law, where I graduated with honors in 1987. After graduating law school, I returned home, joining my Father and Grandfather in the family law practice. I have been fortunate to raise my own family in our wonderful county. I am proud to be a third generation Shuler lawyer here, and that my family has served Franklin County continuously since 1932 - for 86 years. As an attorney with over 30 years of experience, I know our County Court system well. As a life long resident of our county, I know our county well. I have a very strong work ethic. I have a deep belief in core values like fairness and justice. I will serve you well as your County Judge, and I would appreciate your vote. Thank you!
