Candidate's Statement

Trudie was born in Miami, Florida.  Her father worked as a general contractor. Initially he built small homes to be rented out as well as building a home for his family and that of his mother and step-father.

Trudie earned a Bachelor in Business Administration, with a major in accounting, from Florida International University, Miami, FL in 1981; and a Master in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida in 1989. Immediately after getting married she earned her Certified Public Accounting license in 1983.

She has four children, three sons-in-law, four grandchildren. Trudie has been married to Tony Infantini for 37 years.

Mrs. Infantini has worked for large and small CPA firms between 1981 and 2005.  However, since 1983 she has always maintained her own public accounting firm (Trudie Infantini, PA).

Mrs. Infantini has been a college accounting instructor with FIT for the past 11 years. Prior to that she taught accounting for an additional five years with two other universities in Florida.  Other positions or licenses held by Trudie include financial advisor for Wall Street firms; earning her life/health/variable annuity, series 7, 63, and 24 licenses to sell investments as well as having her own firm for a period of time.

Trudie served as Brevard County Commissioner from 2008 to 2016.
