Candidate: Robin Bynoe

Greetings Citizens of Saint Lucie County, My name is Robin D. Bynoe. I am the son of Mrs. Willie Mae Bynoe and the late Whitfield “Moe” Bynoe Sr. We have lived in Saint Lucie County since 1971. I joined the military soon after my graduation from Westwood High School. I served the United States Army for just over 20 years, and retired as a Captain last year. Years before retiring I contemplated what my next agenda would be after my military service. Fort Pierce has always had contingency in my endeavors; even with several opportunities across the world, I have not been able to abdicate my involvement with my home city. I, along with my loving family, have chosen to return back to the place that ignited a passion and drive within me and would help me garner success across a myriad of platforms. My return has been prompted by a succession of instances, chiefly the negative press and issues within the community that I call home. My motivation and focus is to see Saint Lucie County’s resident’s faith in their cities and county restored. We all win when everyone feels like they are part of a team and believe that their government is there to serve the community. The strength and involvement of the people is paramount to yielding the results that everyone desires. Achieving this task may seem daunting, however I wholeheartedly believe in the people in this county and I ask them to believe in me as well. Together we can achieve the impossible.
