Candidate: Erica Mains Reddish

My name is Erica Mains Reddish, and I would be honored to continue serving as your School Board District 5 representative. I was born and raised in Starke, Fl. I attended Bradford public schools from kindergarten through high school. I graduated from BHS and then obtained my AS degree at Santa Fe College. I married my high school sweetheart in 2000 and we have 3 amazing children and one grandchild on the way! We are members of Cross Church of Starke where I serve in several different areas of ministry. 

My children are the reason I originally ran for this office in 2014. I realized that, as a mom of three kids in 3 different schools, I knew what the pressing issues were that affected our students and parents. As I have had the honor of serving these past 8 years, my eyes have been opened to so much more! I now see the needs of not only every student and their families  in the county, but every employee we have in our school district. I have been blessed to be a part of some incredible growth and opportunities over the years, as well as learned critical needs that still need attention in our community to produce the most successful educational experience we can offer!

I have and always will pray over every decision I make. I know that sometimes hard decisions are inevitable and I try and make those decisions based on what's best for all our students and staff in the county. I vow to be diligent in being financially responsible with your tax dollars to make them work in the benefit of our school system to their max potential. I have and always will be a listening ear and active voice on your behalf.
