Candidate: Guy T. Germano

Hello… my name is Tom Germano.  Some of you may remember me from my previous run for County Commissioner for District 4 in 2018.   While I did not win that election, I have stayed deeply involved with our community, county, and state.

A few examples are of what I have been up to:

·       Chairman of the Bradford Sold and Water Conservation District

·       Bradford County State Committeeman for the Republican Party of Florida

·       President of the Melrose Business and Community Association

·       Board Member of the Santa Fe Lake Dwellers Association

·       Chair of Staff Parrish Relations for the Leadership Team at  Keystone United Methodist Church

·       Board Member of the Melrose Volunteer Fire Department

·       Member of the FDOT Traffic Safety Committee

Over the past 4 years, I have attended countless County Commission meetings, workshops, and budget meetings as well as other many other community workshops.

I take our community seriously and have deep love and respect for Bradford County.  I will deliver real programs that Bradford County families can count on for years to come. 

Important local issues like:

·       New and creative ways to increase the counties revenues

·       Stop the overspending of our Tax dollars (Budget) by our Commissioners

·       Support of our Fire and Emergency Services

·       Support our Law Enforcement

·       Grow Our Tax Base, not Tax our Citizens

·       Roads must be a priority

·       Protecting our quality of life from a proposed phosphate strip mine

·       Provide and support activities for children and teenagers throughout the county

·       Smart use of areas around the new Starke Truck Route

·       Support Infrastructure Improvements – High Speed Internet, Water and Sewer Services, Cell Service, etc.

·       Transparency at all county meetings through live broadcast on internet

My family has had a home in Bradford County since 1963 and I’ve been in love with this area since I was 5 years old.  I purchased a home on Lake Santa Fe in 2004 and my life-long dream came true when I became a full-time resident in 2017.
