Candidate: Chris Brannon

Chris Brannon is a native of Jackson County.  He was born in Marianna and graduated from Cottondale High School in 1988 and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 1993 from Troy State in Troy AL.

Chris has served the State of Florida for nearly 29 years with the Florida Department of Corrections and currently holds the position of Director of Institutional Operations, which provides oversight and direction to all program areas impacting operations within the 49 correctional facilties across the state.  He has extensive leadership experience at the local and executive level to include budget analysis,  policy develpoment, security enhancments, which directly impacts public safety.  Chris is also a member of the Florida Sheriff's Association and the American Correctional Association and is the co-owner of C & N Brannon, Inc.

Chris is happily married to Nichole Brannon and has three children.
